I used a different method of changing the water for my bettas.
The Lazy Way(100% H2O change):
1)capture betta in a small container
2)wash tank thoroughly
3)fill up tank with tap water
4)add in dechlorinating solution & a pinch of aquarium salt
5)pour betta from small container into a fish net
6)transfer betta into fresh tank
Bettas(or any fishes) are not supposed to have 100% H2O change although they are hardy fishes.
We'll see how my bettas are doing later......
