D.I.Y Passport Photos
My upcoming job requires me to bring along a couple of passport size photos on my first day.
I've found some of my old photos taken at the neighborhood photo shop.
In these photos, I wasn't smiling properly, my head was tilted and the picture wasn't cropped accurately.
I ain't gonna be submitting such photos to my employer to be made into my ID pass.
And did I mention they costed 7bucks for 6 photos?

I followed these instructions fr hardwarezone.com to make my own passport size photos for 4R prints.

The image file I sent for my 4R prints.

Hamsum anot? LOL

I went to my usual neighborhood photo shop to develop my prints.
I asked how much it'll cost to print just one instant 4R print.
The auntie replied 50cents.
I submitted my photo thru their counter top pc interface with my SD card.
While waiting for my print, I noticed that she and her friend were experimenting with their passport photo shooting setup near the back of their shop.
After printing out my photo, the auntie briefly flashed my 4R print to her friend before handing it over to me.
I guess she was either indicating to her buddy "now that's a pro!!!" or "what a con job!!!".
I left the shop with a smile on my face.

After cutting them out myself.

Total cost: S$0.50

Tip: When taking pix of yourself, try having a mirror behind your digicam so that you can view the LCD of the digicam and adjust yourself to fit in the frame correctly AND adjust your posture/facial expression during the countdown of ur timer.
