Racism Renewal
After the morning's EE2011 tutorial quiz, I skipped the EE2012 lecture so that I could head to the workshop to fabricate the joypad for the R/C boat.
It was 10am when i got there.
And god damn the prejudicial malay workshop technician.
When I asked to draw an aluminium sheet from him, he promptly denied me, saying that I've already drawn some before and each group is only entitled to drawing the materials once.
What the stupid bastard didn't know was that what I've drawn the last time was only an A4 sized sheet. While other groups having been asking for gigantic sheets. After looking at the records, he finally unwillingly gave me a miserable sheet to cut out what I need.
I didn't even bothered to sign in the record book this time.
Screw him!
I diligently worked on my design, cutting and filing away at it.
Later, I went for lunch, met a friend and we went back to the workshop to continue with my work.
He was there to carry on with his too.
I was about to use the needle saw when I discovered that the saw was broken.
Dammit, that was my last step to completing my day's work in the workshop.
And being down on my luck there was no other technician around but the malay guy.
I asked if there was a way to fix the needle saw(maybe replace the saw or something) and he lazily said:"needle saw no more".
I didn't give up, I went back to the sawing room to see if there was anything i can do about the broken machine. To no avail, i left the room dishearted and feeling desparate.
I decided to use the hacksaw to manually saw my aluminium sheet to its dimensions.
Just when I was changing the saw blade on the hacksaw to a finer saw blade, I saw one of the chinese technicians coming in.
I hurried to him and ask if the needle saw could be fixed.
He went into the sawing room, took a new loop of saw blades from one of the cabinets and replaced it in the machine.
It was so bloody easy and the lazy malay bastard didn't even bothered to go into the room to take a look.
I thanked the chinese man and made quick work with my designs because some other people have been eyeing the needle saw for quite some time but didn't have the balls to ask the technicians. I guess either they wanted to avoid bad encounters with the malay guy or they actually believed him when he said the machine couldn't be fixed.
Later on, I saw a malay student approached the malay technician and asked him how to use the bending machine. (Note:The bending machine is more of a bending device. It doesn't have any dangerous motor driven moving parts and even a two-year-old could operate it.)
The malay technician gladly obliged to the student's request and even personally help him bent his sheet to his desired shape. They were chatting and smilling all the way.
