To Whom It May Concern

BANGKOK TRIP (28 - 31 Jan 2009)
After seeing probro's delightful trip to BKK, I had been itching to go there for some hoots too.
Since it is the CNY period, I can take some time off and bring my dear, Adele to BKK for a shopping spree.

We booked our flight with SIA because it was surprisingly at a lower price than those budget airlines. It was around S$480 for two return trips.

For our accomodations, we booked 3 nights with Baiyoke Boutique because dear instantly fell in love with it upon viewing its online photos. In total, it was just under S$200 for 3 nights.

The Baiyoke Boutique's facade may not look like much as I believe it was renovated from an old building.

We went there for its buffet lunch at the 76th storey.
As we were staying in Baiyoke Boutique(BB), we get the same 50% discount as baiyoke sky's guests. The buffet lunch costed about 740baht for two (~S$30).
My dear wasn't much pleased with its food as most of it were cold or not warm enough.

I wouldn't recommend it if not for its breath-taking view of Bangkok city.

Our Hoots!!!
The lingerie is way cheaper in BKK, so dear hooted some.
We also bought a couple of tees fr Hard Rock as memorabilia.
Also some cheap silver accessories (99baht).
And furry flip flops which I wore around town for those few days.


More furry flip flops for dear's sis at work and herself in the kitchen.
And costume watches for her colleagues.

Some tees at 150baht each, a nice pair of gunny sack based sandals and ah-xia-kia bermudas.

On the last day before we left for the airport, we went to Platinum again to score some final hoots and exhaust whatever's left of our cash.
A pair of jeans and tees for myself and a dress for dear.
The stingray wallet and key pouch were bought from Indra Square.


It was an enjoyable but tiring shopping spree holiday for us.
But it was a memorable one. :)
