[HOUSE HUNT] CORAL SPRING - SENGKANG
Coral Spring is situated in Sengkang West Ave, it's pretty close to Jalan Kayu.
This part of the Sengkang estate would be known as Fernvale.
There's the Fernvale LRT station and a bus stop nearby which leads you to Sengkang central.
I'm not sure how long it'll take, I haven't tried out the LRT/bus there yet.

Coral Spring is also located just off of Yio Chu Kang Road.
It's about a 5 min walk from the bus stop along Yio Chu Kang road to the apartments.
From my present home in Serangoon North, its a 10 min bus ride via 70 or 103.
Hence it's not too far from my folks.

From the HDB website, for the 10th storey and above units, only blocks 410A and 410B has got some units left.
Dear says she's fine with 7th storey and above as well.
But in either cases, the view from the living room windows isn't spectacular.
You're just looking out towards the opposite blocks.

Coral Spring is still under construction.
TBC - Oct 2012

There's the LRT and food court just across the road.

Within Fernvale Point there's also a mini-mart, 7-Eleven, bakery, wet market and POSB ATMs.

The buses serving the Fernvale neighborhood.

The buses available along Yio Chu Kang road.

Here's some shots of the adjacent 25 storey apartments - Coral Vale.
I'm guessing Coral Springs would look similar in design too.

Just apply first!
Got 70 and 103 is good, though I ain't too impressed by the koufu (food court) and Fernvale pt. I also heard from friends that the prices at the SK wet markets aren't as competitive as places like AMK wet markets.

nevertheless, may more amenities spring by 2012.

@pro bro: yes the price of food at wet markets at rivervale not that cheap, though there's supposed to be a powerful one coming up at anchorvale in a few years.

KNN, stop spying on me lah.

pushing his shopping cart sounds like a good action video! But frankly, i find buying frozen food the cheapest.

I asked you cos you are a pro. I cannot help it if I'm a happy humper.
