The Artemia Nyos Project(Day12):
My sea monkeys are dropping like flies!
I even found one that has gone completely black!
I'm afraid that the water might be contaminated.
I think sooner or later, all of them are gonna die.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day11):
Sad......4 of my sea monkeys died.
Aerated the tank.
Maybe it was the water concentration.
Water level has been dropping quite rapidly these few days because the weather is humid.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day10):

But I ain't got the time to clean it up.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day9):
Aerated the tank at about noon.
Seeing the load of crap at the bottom of the tank makes me wanna clean it up.
But I'm just too freaking lazy.

Trip to AMK Central:
I was on the bus, sitting right behind the bus-driver.
As the bus was exiting from the bus-stop, a Toyota honked at him and zipped right in front of him.
Then his mood changed, he then begun mumbling to himself, silently cursing the Toyota driver.
Later, as he was making a turn round the AMK MRT, towards the bus terminal, somebody press the bell.
Well, the bus wasn't suppose to stop at the coming bus stop as it is near the terminal.
But that person who hit the bell didn't know that.
Then the bus-driver's mood changed again.
It was a mood of satisfaction. Satisfaction of knowing that someone is gonna be disappointed.
Then he said to himself:"Mun mun dan......". Which means "slowily wait" in Hokkien.
Then he begun conjuring up a jovial tune with that phrase.
Singing to himself, nodding and swaying his head as he eases the bus into the alighting zone of the bus terminal.
Guess that's how people relieve their daily stress.

Quote of the Day(QoD):
I guess every driver thinks that he himself is always right while the rest are assholes.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day8):
I was home all day but yet I almost forgot to aerated the tank.
But anyway, I did the 1st feeding today.
So I shall be feeding them every Saturday.
Found a dead one at the bottom today.
Sucked it up with the aqua leash and dumped it in the sink.
Kinda cruel but that's LIFE!

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day7):
Back home pretty early today.
Aerated the tank a couple of rounds.
They're shitting all over the place.
With shit-trails dangling outta their behinds.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day6):
There's a couple of them who grew real big.
Water level seemed to drop faster with the new home.
Must be the bigger exposed surface area.
The moss at the bottom is getting lesser and lesser.
Soon, I'd have to really feed them.
So far I didn't see any dead carcasses down at the bottom of the tank.
I guess none died......yet.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day5):
Went to IKEA and bought a beautiful piece of glassware.
It's gonna be the new home for my sea monkeys.
It's rectangular in shape.
When filled with 10oz of water, it's only half full.
And it looks great that way.
Especially with the greenish water in it.

They must be hungry because they are now beginning to feed on the moss at the bottom of the tank.
But I think there's enough to last they till Sat, the official feeding day.
I noticed that the larger ones are hanging out near the surface of the water while the smaller ones reside near the bottom.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day4):
They are bigger than yesterday.
There's a lot of them, roughly about 40.
Aeration, aeration, aeration

Saw a friend from the english class today.
She commented that my sweater was nice.
What's that all about?
Could it be because of the favours I've done/been doing for her?
Or was it just a truthful compliment?
I seldom get compliments from anybody anyway.
She's a cute gal.
I like her.

Had a hair cut at the Serangoon North Hair Salon.
Not having a fancy name though.
There's only an uncle(mat) in the salon.
I was expecting ladies in the salon.
He was skillful though.
Gave me the hair-cut I had in mind.
It was well worth the 8 bucks i paid after.
I was pleased.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day3):
Back from school quite late.
Whoah!......the tank's teaming with sea monkeys.
I gave it a couple of aerations and watched as they swam about energetically.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day2):
Cool...
Before even adding in the Live Eggs packet, there's already some of them baby sea monkeys in the water.
I guess the "instant life" ain't that instant after all.
These babies are the advance party which originated from the Water Purifier packet.
They tend to reside at the bottom of the tank where there's more air bubble pockets trapped on the irregular surfaces.
No feeding till day 5, but will be aerating the tank everyday as suggested.

The Artemia Nyos Project(Day1):
I had a sudden urge to go get myself some sea monkeys.
I did.
Bought it from forum the shopping mall in orchard.
Not cheap though.
50 bucks for the complete kit.
Still in stage 1 of letting the water purifer do its magic on the water.
Will be adding in the live eggs tomorrow at about 3pm.

It was a long day.
A test in the morning.
A streaming talk after.
Then it's time for a lab session.
Today's project presentation.

I was in the lab until she came along.
I know her.
But not her name.
I should know her.
Cos we're of the same cohort.

I looked at her, not stared.
I spoke to her, not much.
She asked if the pc was occupied.
"No it aint",I replied
She typed on the keyboard.
No response on the monitor.
She's puzzled.
I told her she's on the wrong keyboard.
We shared a laugh.

Was she dumb?
I think not.
Was she nervous?
I hope so......
