Cool Tool
Alright......i've found an alternative to the pricey Tamiya Side Cutter.
http://www.myimghost.com/getimg/cutter.jpg

I bought this cutter fr Daiso @ IMM.
http://www.myimghost.com/getimg/daiso.jpg
Available in Mustard Yellow, Volcanic Red & Sky Blue (while stocks last).

If u noe it...all items in Daiso are $2.
It can reach into various parts of the stikfas frame.
The blade is angled up a little.
But its cut is not entirely clean. Not bcos it's not sharp, but bcos its too rugged.
If ur habit is to always trim a little after cutting it fr the frame...i'd recomend this bcos its gets the job done fast.
I'd still prefer my nail clipper.

The blades look a bit smaller than the tamiya ones.
Which is pretty good.
But after using this one, I'm beginning to wonder if the tamiya ones are any good.
I'd have to try out my fren's one b4 I can conclude.

Direct Import
Made a stikfas deal with a guy call dousing today.
He sold me 7 of his regular & deluxe packs.
He imported them by the case, hence, he's able to sell them to me cheaply.

These are the Hasbro(notice the triangular box) stikfas which cannot be found anywhere in stores now because Hasbro is no longer the distributor for stikfas.

Oh no! I'm a Poseur......
Bought one of these LIVESTRONG bands from HWZ cos I wanna know what's the hype about them. It's Made in China and it's made of 100% Synthetic Silicone. No biggy. It's suppose to cost US$1 each but the guy who imported them is selling them for S$4 each. Quite a profitable sales I must say so myself. Fancy people making a quick buck out of these fund raising memobilias.
I'm also in the process of getting the anti-racism ones.
In case you are wondering, I ain't wearing them to school cos I ain't the sporty type.

More STIKFAS
Yesterday, I took a straight bus(33) from school to chinatown OG in search of more stikfas blister packs.
They cost $9.90 each but WTH...I bought them anyway. Four in total. Alpha Male Black, Tan, Green(G2) & Red(G2). In the G2 or generation 2 Alpha Males, they have elbow and knee joints. This makes them much more versatile for articulation purposes.

Then I found out that Urban Attic(in Roxy Square) sells stikfas too. 8 bucks each for the blister packs. I shall soon check them out since it's also a straight bus(76) from my home.

Harvey & Hazel
Today, I submitted my report for one of my interesting modules today.
The module is called Innovativeness in Engineering Design.
One of its projects is to design an innovative toy.
I came up with Harvey & Hazel.

The concept of the toy is sort of like BE@RBRICK and KUBRICK.
The structure of the toy was inspired by toilet signage, haha.
For this assignment I was also required to create a paper advertisement along with the report.
When my fellow module-mates saw my poster, they said that what I did was a rip-off of the "I,Robot" movie poster......but i beg to defer......

STIKFAS
I was doing a project on innovative toys when I come across STIKFAS.
STIKFAS is produced by our very own local toy maker.

They are small humanoid plastic figurines which comes in blister packs.
These toys can be posed in many ways.

I got them from Toys 'R' Us @ Forum Shopping Centre @ S$9.90 per pack.
