JANGGUT LAKSA
@ QUEENSWAY SHOPPING CENTRE

The Original Katong Spoon Laksa

I was out with A-De and Ah Peng after work today to crub the Monday blues.
A-De did some CNY clothes shopping while Ah Peng got his faulty PSP memory stik replaced.
Me? I was there for whatever good food Queensway has to offer.
A-De suggested the laksa in Queensway Shopping Centre.

Only $3 each.

Ingredients include prawns, cockles and fish cake slices.

The soup base is slightly gritty with the coconut.
The chilli paste is powerful, I only added in 1/3 of it.
The prawns are fresh and were not treated with soda water to make em springy.
The cockles do not really have the raw taste to it as they were pretty well done(some may like it, some may not).

whichever is the way its done,
whether it is the fookin' 'Original' or not,
as long as it taste good,
it is good laksa!
crowds follow good food, not just publicity alone!
