PARALLEL IMPORTED PRODUCTS

Thought I would share my friend's recent incident of being fooled by parallel-imported Sandisk product Be5t B@rgain from Sim Lim Square.
Basically, bought a new Sandisk flash drive, later was spoilt, returned to RMA, not entitled to immediate replacement, have to wait one month or more for replacement.
Read his full story here if you are interested.

Lesson learnt:
Be5t B@rgain sells cheap because of parallel imports and do not provide the full benefits that Sandisk guarantees. Only official distributed Sandisk products from Vector Magnetics enjoy the full benefits.
Be5t B@rgain also sell parallel-imported Kingston products that are not covered by Convergent.
Official distributed products are just a few dollars more, available from many other retailers at Sim Lim Square.

Please be more prudent when spending your precious bucks on the latest and more expensive memory cards. You won't want to wait one month or more for a replacement, especially when you have important photography assignments. Neither do you want to lose your precious photographs. Avoid future disappointments by making the correct purchase. Hope this post shed some light into making your next memory card purchase.
